# Publish a plan

> Freeze the draft as a numbered version so the whole team works from the same numbers.

Draft changes are visible only in the draft. Publishing creates a numbered snapshot of the forecast weeks, the assumptions and the decisions behind them.

1. Open **Published plan**.
2. Review **Changes to review**: each changed week or setting with its previous and new value. Read the decision log for the reasons.
3. Use **Publish version** and add a short summary.

The new version appears in **Published history** with your name and the time. Viewer mode shows the latest published version.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Publishing records what the team agreed to discuss. It doesn't check that the forecast or assumptions are right.

If the demand data itself changed (for example a data refresh), week-by-week comparisons may not make sense. In that case the page says the numbers are not comparable instead of listing them as edits.
