# Welcome to Essence

> Essence turns your brewery's sales history into a weekly demand forecast and a packaging plan you can adjust, explain and share.

Essence is a planning tool for craft breweries. It reads your shipment history from Ekos and your liquor-board sales data, forecasts the next 13 weeks of demand for each packaged product, and works back to the packaging you need and when to order it.

> Essence is an early prototype, built with a pilot brewery. Numbers come from loaded data snapshots, not a live connection, and the forecast is a planning starting point, not a promise. Every page says where its numbers come from and what is still an assumption.
