# Quickstart

> Sign in, read your forecast and make your first change in about ten minutes.

## 1. Sign in

Use the sign-in link and the personal login in your welcome email. Each person has their own login, so every change you save is recorded under your name. Please don't share your password; ask us for another login instead.

## 2. Read the forecast

Open **Forecast grid**. It shows the forecast for each product (a beer in a given pack, for example a 4-pack of 473 ml cans) for each week, with weeks starting on a Monday. Numbers are in selling units (the stated pack) and in hectolitres.

* The chart above the grid overlays past years of shipments so you can see the seasonal pattern.
* Shipments and liquor-board store sales are labelled separately. Store sales lag shipments by several weeks.

## 3. Check packaging

Open **Materials plan**. It shows which packs can't be filled with the packaging on hand and on order, and the date by which to order more. Late dates are marked as overdue.

## 4. Make a change

Planners can edit the draft plan:

* Click a future week on the **Forecast grid** to set an override or a promotion.
* Use **Demand events** to add an extra order or a percentage lift for a product and date range.

Every change asks for a short note. The note, your name and the time go into the decision log.

## 5. Share it

Changes stay in the draft until someone publishes. Open **Published plan**, review what changed, and publish a numbered version when the team should see it. Viewer mode always shows the latest published version.
