# Data & assumptions

> The files behind the plan, how products are matched, and what is still assumed.

## Sources and their dates

Every loaded file with its date range, row count and fingerprint. Ekos history covers your own shipments across all channels; liquor-board files cover store sales and stock. They are loaded snapshots, not a live connection, and they have different dates. Check the dates before comparing numbers.

## Product matches and gaps

The mapping table links Ekos products to liquor-board SKUs. Products that aren't matched are listed, with their volume; their demand is outside the SKU forecasts and the packaging plan. Planners can edit matches with a justification. Confirm the product and container size first.

## Assumptions that change the plan

The assumption register explains units, missing values, the forecast baseline, stock timing, lead times, packaging stock and pack recipes, and what each one affects. A published input is not necessarily a confirmed input.

## Volume that isn't planned

Kegs and taproom pours appear in the reconciliation but are not part of packaged planning. Rows with unknown pack volume are excluded from volume totals: unknown is not zero.
