# Forecast grid

> The 13-week demand forecast per product, with history, overrides, seasonal factors and the decision log.

Explore the draft forecast, or read the frozen published forecast in Viewer mode. This is an early forecast: treat it as a planning starting point.

## Shipment history and store sales

Demand uses your own Ekos shipments across all channels. The history chart overlays past years, as raw weekly shipments or a smoothed line. Shipments and liquor-board store sales are labelled separately; store sales lag shipments by several weeks. Weeks known to be unusual (for example a production gap) are marked on the chart.

No shipment history for a product means it isn't matched yet, not that there is no demand.

## Weekly quantities and overrides

Future weeks show selling units, hectolitres, promotions, overrides and added events. The model quantity stays visible when you override it.

* An override replaces the model (including any promotion lift) for that week.
* Quantity events are added afterward, so an override doesn't erase them.

See [Adjust the forecast](https://docs.elevatedsignals.ai/essence/how-to/adjust-the-forecast.md).

## Seasonal factors and month totals

Seasonal factors come from past shipments and can be edited with a note. Month totals group forecast weeks by their Monday date. Partial months contain only the weeks shown.

## Decision log

Every saved change with its note, author and time. Draft changes need a publish step before they appear in the published view.
