# Auditor Packet

> Print-ready quality registers for a date range, in one PDF.

The **Auditor Packet** report builds one print-ready PDF of your quality registers for a date range. It is
available where the auditor packet is enabled for your organization. It is off by default and is enabled
per organization on request. Only Administrators and QA Managers can generate or download it.

## Generate a packet

1. Go to **Operations → Reports**.
2. In **Generate a Report**, choose **Auditor Packet** as the **Report type**.
3. Enter **Date from** and **Date to**. Leave either blank to start from inception or run to the present.
4. Select **Generate & Download**.

The packet is PDF only. Earlier packets appear in **Generated Report History**.

## Date range

The range uses whole days in your organization's time zone. The start date is included, and the range
runs to the end of the end date. If your organization's time zone is not set or is invalid, the packet
uses UTC and says so in the range label. Downloading an earlier packet again uses the range it was
generated with.

## Contents

The first page is a cover with the organization, the range, when and by whom the packet was generated,
and a record count for each register. Each register then starts on a new page, in this order:

| Register | Rows included | Columns |
| - | - | - |
| Deviations | Opened or closed in the range | Record ID, Title, Status, Opened, Closed, Owner |
| CAPAs | Opened or closed in the range | Record ID, Title, Status, Opened, Closed, Owner |
| Change controls | Opened, implemented or rejected in the range | Record ID, Title, Status, Opened, Closed, Owner |
| Complaints | Where Complaints is enabled | Record ID, Title, Status, Opened, Closed, Owner |
| Training | Assignments due or completed in the range | Record ID, Person, Programme, Due, Completed, Status |
| Equipment | Where the equipment register is enabled: assets with calibration, PM, out-of-service or return-to-service activity in the range | Record ID, Equipment, Owner, Activity in range, Current calibration / PM status |

A register whose module is off shows as not enabled on the cover. An empty register prints **No records
in this range.** The equipment activity column counts calibrations with their pass and fail results,
and marks activity that was later voided.

## How to read it

* **Status is current, not historical.** Each row shows the record's status when the packet was
generated, not its status during the range. Equipment status is checked at generation time.
* **Downloads are rebuilt.** Each download builds the PDF from the records as they are at download time.
The packet is not a frozen dossier. Use the record IDs to request individual record files.
* **Nothing is cut off silently.** Each register is limited to 10,000 rows in the range. A larger
packet is refused with a message instead of being truncated.
* **Audited.** Each generation and each download is written to the tamper-evident audit trail.
