# Quality Calendar

> Calendar and routing view for upcoming quality work.

When Quality Calendar is enabled, it shows deviation and CAPA dates, document entries, and dated
quality tasks where the task workflow is also enabled. The routing illustration is not a live
controlled-document approval timeline.

## Month Navigation

Use previous, next, and Today controls to move through monthly quality commitments. Audit readiness
depends on seeing what is due next, not only what is overdue today — review the next month before
weekly quality meetings and assign owners to any work that lacks clear accountability.

## Activity Calendar

Calendar entries include open deviations and CAPAs, document entries, and unfinished quality tasks
with due dates. Open an entry to review its underlying record. Any change must follow that record's
permissions and workflow. This release does not add training assignments, recurring schedules, or
change-control implementation dates as separate calendar feeds.

Each entry labels its type and date meaning:

* **Requested due date**: an explicitly set deviation or CAPA due date.
* **Target due date**: the SLA-derived target when no explicit date is set.
* **Due for review**: a document's next scheduled review.
* **Task due date**: a dated, unfinished quality task. Undated and completed tasks are excluded.

Task entries require either the quality-work-item tracker or quality-ticketing workflow to be enabled,
as well as the calendar. Select a **Task** entry to open its detail page. Document entries labelled
**Routing** use an illustrative schedule when no review date exists; do not treat that date as an
actual approval deadline.

  The Document Routing Gantt is currently an illustrative seeded routing schedule for Author, QA Review,
  and Approval stages, until live approval-task dates are connected — it is not presenting sample data as
  actual history. Use the document detail page and audit trail for actual approval evidence until live
  routing dates are connected.
