You need a planner login. Changes go into the draft plan until someone publishes.

Override one week

  1. Open Forecast grid.
  2. Click the future week you want to change for that product.
  3. Enter the quantity in selling units (the stated pack, not a 24-can case).
  4. Add a decision note, for example “Confirmed order from the liquor board”.
  5. Save. The model quantity stays visible next to your override.
To go back to the model, clear the override and save.

Apply a promotion to one week

In the same week editor, set a promotion lift instead of an override. The lift applies to the model’s number. If the week also has an override, the override wins. For a promotion across several weeks or a whole brand, add a demand event instead.

Change a seasonal factor

  1. On Forecast grid, expand Seasonal indices.
  2. Change the factor for the month and add a note.
  3. Save. The whole forecast recalculates.
Seasonal factors come from past years of shipments. Change one when you know this year is different, for example a new listing or a lost account.

Check your change

The decision log at the bottom of the page lists every saved change with the note, your name and the time. Then open Materials plan to see whether the change creates a packaging shortfall.
